When was the last time you purchased a set of playing cards? What was it and where did you get it?

I play card games on the computer, but when I was younger I used to play with my family using actual playing cards. I just got curious if people still play cards the good old way. I miss those days a lot.

Oh heck yeah....my family still plays cards. The last deck I bought was for my Daughter (she collects them) They were Simpson characters and I bought them on Ebay
Reply:My friends and I used to sit around playing Rummy for hours and hours, then we all had kids. I miss it too. I haven't bought a deck of cards in a long time, i have used the same deck for more than 5 years, I like them they are broke in real nice.
Reply:I play freecell on the computer. I don't think I have ever purchased playing cards. Maybe once, but I don't remember.
Reply:I bought a Deck of cards from a hotel in Barrow , Alaska. Got free penguin too.
Reply:Last deck I bought was a "Bicycle" deck (remember those?). I bought them a few months ago at the 99cent store. I keep them on hand for company. My daughter has an old set that she plays concentration - matching - with.





I would think that with all the poker being played - offline that is - that playing cards would still be popular.
Reply:I purchased my last set of cards at a rite aid few years back bicycle of course.but if your looking for a set try there or at your local 99 cents only chain for a set.also pokers the game love playing that with my cousins hope i was of some help.
Reply:I purchased a deck of cards a few years back at a Walgreens store, the brand name was Stud and had a face of a horse on the pack and jokers. I play Uno with some nephews.
Reply:I play alot of poker so I always have a million decks around my house. As for the last time I purchased them...about a week ago. Brand name is selectum, they're cheap dollar store cards.
Reply:most time i play cards games on the computer too but sometines i play the old fashion way. the last time i got cards was for christmas and the person who got them for me got the cards at walmart.
