What's the best way to throw playing cards?

I've heard about people who can throw cards so hard that they can slice through carrots and bananas. What is the best technique for throwing cards?

What's the best way to throw playing cards?
flick, and let your wrist provide the power, not your arm. so when you flick it, just let your hand fly foward, and then let the momentum of your hand carry the card. put the card between your index and middle finger, and then let go when you think it will do the most damage. its kinda fun. ive sliced though a coulpa bananas, but never carrots. they're too hard.
Reply:i have just started throwing playing cards and i can almost cut fruit but a good web site would be www.davidslife.com/funstuff/ca... or www.knifethrowing.info/throwin... Report Abuse

Reply:Throw them with your legs!
Reply:Away from you.
Reply:In a drunken rage.
Reply:I would ask a magician.
Reply:I heard of a school for that.
Reply:Gambit style.

--With anger.
Reply:Sassy Says....look on line I am sure you can find something, 52 card pick up ha ha ha
Reply:off a bridge
Reply:I think you have mistaken playing cards with ninja stars. The only person I know who can slice through a carrot with a playing card is Chuck Norris. You be my guest and ask him if you want.
Reply:With your hand. Practice, practice, practice. That is correct . Can't remember his full name, professional card player, nickname Jesus, that can throw a playing card from twenty five feet and slice fruit. Saw him do it. Amazing !
Reply:sharpen the edges to a razor-point.

Then, throw using your thumb.
Reply:It is easiest to throw them in their unopened box.
Reply:I don't throw my cards. The thought of picking up 52 cards just sounds like too much work!
Reply:Watch Chris Fergueson, the poker pro, throw them. He slices fruit with them.
Reply:Spin them flat.

If you want to cut carrots or bananas, you're going to need a deck made out of metal, with an edge sharpened.
