After the knock out group stage, any outstanding yellow cards that have not progressed to red are now void.How does the rest of the competition go on until the final with yellow cards

GROUP STAGES: Two yellow cards (or a red) invoke a one match ban.





AFTER GROUP STAGES: All cards are erased, but any bans incurred are enforced for the next round





KNOCK-OUT STAGES: Two yellow cards (or a red) invoke a one match ban.

Reply:After the group matches, all yellow cards are consigned to history, however if a player recieves two yellow cards from now on they are unable to take any further part in the World Cup.
