How do you commmicate when playing cards ? Such as great game?

Hi,

You can't chat under the table anymore. Yahoo! did this to cut down on the cheating and speed up the game.

If you can't chat on the chat box on the table, do this:

The first thing you do when you enter lounge is check play small window in option box at the bottom left of the lobby page. Once you sit, you can expand the room to see the chat area. You will only see the top half of the cards but there are no ads!!! Then click on the chat box and type in your message and hit enter on your keyboard.

Have fun playing.

How do you commmicate when playing cards ? Such as great game?
Depends on the card game! You must be more specific. As an example, Texas Hold 'Em probably has 200 or more terms, including slang. Some examples:

You are dealt two down card. Here are some slang terms were various pairings of cards:

10 2 is "the Doyle Brunson" (because Doyle won two tournaments with this hand)

A A is "bullets" or "pocket rockets"

A K is "big slick"

Q Q is "ladies"

J J is "fish hooks"

5 5 is "the speed limit"

And so on.

The 5 cards on the board are called the "community cards." They are deal 3 at once (the flop) then one (the turn or 4th street) and the last card (the river or 5th street).

A straight A to 5 is called "a wheel" and a straight 10 to A is a "tree top."

Three of a kind with a pair is called a full house, a full boat, or simply a boat.

Three of a kind is called a set.

Having the best possible hand is called "the nuts." You will also hear "the nut straight" or "the nut flush," etc.

There are many more!

As for wishing someone a great game ... hmmm. In tournaments you'll hear compliments like: "Nice hand, sir." "Nice bet." "Nice flop." "Nice river." And when someone leaves the table, "Nice playing with you."
