Who do the 4 queens of playing cards represent?

i have been under the impression that the represent 4 of henry the VIII's 6 wives.





Queen of spades- Anne boleyn


Queen of hearts- Catherine of aragon


Queen of clubs- Catherine Howard


Queen of Diamonds- Jane seymour

Who do the 4 queens of playing cards represent?
They represent the card that is higher than the Jack but lower than the King.

In the 16th century the French playing-card makers started a fashion of giving the court cards the names of famous kings, queens and heroes, but the names they gave them varied widely - and didn't include any of Henry VIII's wives.
