shuffle a deck of cards and draw one from the deck

then check the table and see what the meaning of the card is
Reply:Regular playing cards were derived from the Minor Arcana of the Tarot,and can be used to divinate with,but they don't have the same strong subconscious imagery as the Tarot.Anyway here's how it goes:

Spades= Swords

Hearts= Cups or Chalices

Clubs= Wands,Staves or Rods

Diamonds=Pentacles or Discs

There is no card in the regular playing deck to equal the Page or Princess in the Tarot.And there is no Major Arcana.The Joker card of the regular playing card deck is the only card that appears in the Major Arcana of the Tarot.There it is the Fool.
Reply:I suggest you get a book on the subject. I have one for a tarot deck, but it would take all day to give you the information. The tarot deck is divided into 2 groups; Major Arcana - 22 cards

Lesser Arcana - 56 cards which are representative of a regular playing deck of 52 cards. The Jack is a combination of the Knight and the Page.

The meanings of the cards change depending on their relationship to other cards, where they are placed in the reading and whether or not they are placed head up.

Wands are Clubs

Swords are Spades

Cups are Hearts

Pentacles are Diamonds

Check your local library or a book store for a publication on divining with a regular deck of playing cards.
Reply:Hearts are cups, diamonds are pentacles, spades are swords, and clubs are wands. Otherwise, you're pretty much reading the pip cards the same, except no page/prince/whatever the funky lowest court card is in the tarot deck you're used to (they change...)
Reply:You are speaking of cartomancy. There are many sites that have info on the topic.
Reply:You don't need to go there this is not good. No JOKING AROUND. Don't go there. Stay away from this stuff. It is bad for You. My vibes are telling me to answer your ?. Stay away from this, no good no good no good.
